    PROFILE

    Pastor (Mrs.) Odedele Eunice Yinka is an indigene of Igbara-Oke born in the early 50s. She is a seasoned Development worker for over ten years. She is vast in Administrative and Financial Management, Human Resource Management and Development, and a mentor of Youths. She is the Principal Consultant of NICE-REM Consults and Ventures. Also, she is the Founder and Executive Director of Gender Equality and the Girl Child Development Foundation (“GEGCDF”) an NGO that works on governance, health-related issues, for total community development especially in relation to women, youths, and children issues. This NGO has membership in different networks some of which are: Partners for Peace (P4P), a network of NGOs working for peace and conflict resolution in the Niger Delta states of Nigeria, where she was a foundation member of the Ondo state chapter had previously served as Welfare officer and currently the state Coordinator. She is also with her NGO a member of CiSHAN, ACOMIN, National Council of Child Rights Advocate, Nigeria, ( NACCRAN), Child Protection Network, Afrihealth Optonet, Association for Orphan and Vulnerable Children (AONN); Tax Justice, and Good Governance Platform (TJGGP) Germany Leprosy and TB Relief Association (GLRA); International Women Disable Centre, Business and Professional Women International, Nigeria (BPW), National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) and others.

     

    She has to her credit, B.sc. Pub. Administration, PG.D Fin. Management and Masters in Managerial Psychology. She is a Centre for Management Development [C.M.D] accredited Trainer. She was a civil servant for thirty-five years (35yrs) before she retired in the year 2009.

     

    She has attended courses Nationally and internationally some of which are: International Training on Managing the Training and Development Functions at RIPA, London, Effective Service Delivery, “Pro-Poor Fiscal Policy and Management in Nigeria states” by UNDP, Advance Training the Trainers course, Certificate course in Computer and Office Automation, SMEDAN/ICECD India-Training the Trainers for NGOs, Promotion of Sustainable Road Safety Culture Preservation and Management of the Environment. She has been trained on Monitoring issues relating to People with Disabilities (PWDs) in view of her working with the strata in the Communities, she is also trained on Cooperative management and others.

     

    She is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Nigeria ‘IPAN’, Institute of Industrialists and Corporate Administrators (IICA), Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria [ICA], Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) (Chartered), Institute of Training and Development [NITAD], Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN), National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), International Women Ministers Organization and others.

     

    Some of the awards she has are PSR Women of Merit Gold Award, IPAN Award of Merit, African Women Nation Builders Gold Award, African Leader of Integrity Merit Award for Accountability and Transparency, IICA Merit Award for Excellence in Financial Management and Control, and others.

     

    She has written some papers such as Accountability and the Nigerian Civil Service-A case study of Ondo State Civil Service-1999 to 2004, Facts on HIV/AIDS, Empowering Women for Self-Sufficiency, Community Education on Empowerment for people leaving with HIV/AIDS, The Ondo State Public Service-Training and Manpower Development-An update, Protocol Management for Women Managers in Ondo-State, Job Satisfaction and Job Commitment in Relation to Attitude to Work Among Single Parent Officers in Ondo State Civil Service.

     

    Her hobbies include Community development as a social worker, Reading, especially management and spiritual books, gardening, light sporting, and traveling.
